Devotion of the Month

The Rock: Jesus

Are you familiar with the story of the wise man and the foolish man from Matthew 7:24-27? The story goes like this: The wise man builds his house upon the rocks and the foolish mains builds his house on the sand. When a terrible storm comes it destroys the house on the sand, but the house on the rocks stands firm. What this story is showing us is God is the rock and wants us to make the right decision by asking him to come into our heart so that he can help us stand firm in our faith, and not make bad decisions. If we decied to not be like the wise man and decide to be like the foolish man, it will be easy for us to be tempted to make bad decisions. The right decision is to follow God and not to be leaded to not to terrible things.

Many other times in the Bible it says that God is our rock.

Some examples are:

2 Samuel22:32, 2 Samuel 22:2-3a, Deuteronomy 32:41, and Psalm 31:3b.

If you have a bible go ahead and look these verses up.

If you are interested in learning more about God talk to a parent, pastor, relative, or guardian.

Cleaning Tips

 Make time for everything.

Make a chore chart to see what you should do every day, and to see what you have acomplished
each day

When you go into a room, pick up at least two things. It will become a habit. Eventually when you go into a room you will naturally pick up things and the house will look nice.

Don't put off chores. Do them while you can because it will get annoying when you have to do the put off chores and not be able to do something fun instead.

If you DON'T NEED IT, chuck it !!!

Before you dust, wet the duster till it is damp, and it will pick up more dirt, and not just raise it.

If you are hanging around at home , keep a cloth with you , and if you see something that needs to be cleaned , clean it. When you go upstairs , bring something upstairs. When you go downstairs , bring something down.

A New Beginning Part 2

I am so sorry that it has been awhile since I put up that last post in May of 2015. My family just moved to Pennsylvannia so with all the packing and unpacking I did not have time to put up any posts.

I am still going to help you on this journey but I will not only help you because I will also be on this journey with you as I am only 10 years old and am probably your age so it is a journey for me as well.

I cant wait to start this journey with you!!!

A New Beginning

Hi my name is Kaitlyn Pulliam and I am taking over my sister Leah's blog. The last post was put up in May of 2011 so nobody has put up a post in awhile.

My plan is to take over the blog with some help from my Mom and have it up and running again. I am hoping to continue  the journey for you of becoming a Titus 2 Woman. Since I am taking over this blog, I am going to be putting up the rest of the post's for your personal journey of how to become a Titus 2 Woman. I hope you enjoy what I am going to be doing.
